Radiohead Reveal Details Of Worldwide Album Event
It will include a day long stream from the band.
A record store in Brighton has revealed details of Radiohead's mysterious day long album event. The event is being coordinated by the band to celebrate the physical release of their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool.
The event will feature broadcasting of material from the band's recent live shows with new and old material, artwork by the band's long time visual collaborator Stanley Donwood on sale and a live set from the being broadcast on the day at 6pm. All of this will take place in independent record stores across the globe on Friday June 17.
For Irish fans Tower Records in Dublin will be taking part in the event from 10am on the day. no tickets will be needed to gain entry. The audio broadcast will be curated by the band themselves though it is not yet clear where the two hour live set with be broadcast from.
