Radio NOVA hits all-time high listenership
Station sees a massive 29% rise in listeners
Radio NOVA are celebrating impressive JNLR figures today, which see the station reaching an all-time high in listenership.
Weekly listenership has risen a whopping 29% to 146,000, while daily listenership jumped to 75,000 (up 27%) in the figures covering the 12 months up to March 2015.
It continues a trend of audience growth for the station, which broadcasts the dulcet tones of Marty Miller and Dee Woods, Paddy Courtenay and many more across Dublin, Kildare, Meath & Wicklow.
NOVA's chief Kevin Branigan was understandably excited at the new numbers. “We’re very pleased with the latest figures," he said. "We’ve worked really hard over the past 12 months to grow our audience and we can see the growth coming through in daily and weekly listenership as well as in market share. We’re adding substantial numbers of new listeners with each JNLR survey and these listeners are staying with us”.
It's also testament to the station's current 'Feedback Campaign’, asking listeners to give honest feedback about areas such as the music played on the station, it’s news coverage, programmes and competitions.
