Dublin singer-songwriter Aisling Quinn will preview her debut album Let The Games Begin on August 27
The singer will appear with her band at the Odessa Club on Friday, August 27 to preview the new album, with the show kicking off at 9pm.
The album is the follow-up to Quinn's EP A Simple Arrangement which prompted Jackie Hayden to give Quinn his "Pick of the Fortnight" accolade in Hot Press, adding "Aisling Quinn has a delicious voice... She knows how to marry attractive melodies with intelligent lyrics to create songs of real substance".

Apart from her songwriting adventures, the past year has seen Quinn compose the music for a production of the play Portia Coughlan by Marina Carr for a sell out run in The New Theatre, Dublin. She also supported Albert Niland and Roesy on their Irish tours. She created original music for a production of Medea Redux in the Bernard Shaw Beer Garden, and wrote and arranged the music for a production of The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl in The New Theatre. Earlier this year she was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriters Competition. Her debut album showcases songs with touches of jazz, folk, pop and blues.
