Prince's Purple Rain Jacket Fetches Over €86,000

How much would you be willing to pay for a shirt and jacket? If you had any intentions on bidding on the Prince clothing from the singer's landmark film Purple Rain, it would set back a few bob.

Prince's famous ruffled, new romantic-style white shirt and jacket managed to fetch over €86,000 at auction over the weekend. The clothing sold for 30 times more than its initial cost of €2,800.

The Guardian reports that a plethora of Prince memorabilia was snapped up over the weekend including, knee-length boots form the 'Lovesexy' tour, a necklace from the video 'Diamonds and Pearls' and another white shit from the 'Purple Rain' tour.
