Premiere: Beauty Sleep release new video for ‘Rainbow Ballroom’
The music video will be followed by the release of their debut album Be Kind on May 17
Having earned a stellar reputation for their vibrant, synth-driven pop music through their earlier releases ‘The Feeling Back’ and ‘The Dark’, Beauty Sleep have poured all their energy into their debut album Be Kind.
The Belfast trio’s high-energy live performances are a celebration of music and dance, and their music is incredibly positive, powerful and poetic.
Their upcoming album is set to showcase their love for the creative process and will be drenched with golden vocal harmonies, dazzling synths and earworm hooks. To tide you over until the album’s release on May 17, we're happy to premiere the music video for their latest single ‘Rainbow Ballroom’.
According to the band, this nostalgic music video is a nod to the forgotten aesthetic of the Irish showband era. At the core of the song, there is a message of ‘if only you could see yourself the way others do’, a theme that is evident throughout the entire album. Being kind to yourself is at the crux of Beauty Sleep’s message.
