Porridge Radio announce new album as well as show at Whelan's
The first single off the upcoming LP 'Sick Of The Blues' was released today
Indie rock band Porridge Radio have announced their new album Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me, set to be released October 18.
The Brighton based band also announced upcoming tours of the UK, Europe, and US to celebrate the release.
Their 16-date European tour will kick off in Tourcoing, France on October 31, with a show in Dublin’s Whelan’s on November 7. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am.
"A lot of this album is about a more frenetic and desperate kind of love,” said lead singer and guitarist Dana Margolin in a statement.
"It is about completely losing my sense of self in one relationship, and the deep residue of insecurity and pain that lingered and clouded a new relationship.”
The first single off the upcoming project ‘Sick Of The Blues’ was released today, alongside a video of their live performance at Le Centre Pompidou in Paris earlier this year.
Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For Me will mark the 4th release from Porridge Radio since their formation in 2015.
2016 saw the band release their debut studio album, Rice, Pasta, and Other Fillers, followed up by Every Bad in 2020, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
The band’s UK tour will see them play 9 dates in November, while the US tour will commence in January 2025, and see 11 performances.
