Pierce Turner in new Will Ferrell movie

Their scene is set in a New York Bar and was filmed immediately before Turner returned to his hometown of Wexford to perform at the Wexford Arts Centre on Saturday, December 19.

As Turner revealed to Hot Press, "The filming left me with a hair raising trip to JFK to get home. I only got the call about the film three days before I was due to leave. Will, Mark and myself spent the whole of the previous day recording and tweaking the song in an New York studio. Next day we began shooting the scene from early morning until the wee hours, before I rushed out to JFK."
