Phoenix Festival gears up for lift off
Tullamore's Phoenix Festival kicks off this Friday.
The Phoenix Festival brings together a broad range of activities over this mid-July weekend, from constant music events to arts and crafts, live performances, workshops, street theatre, and extensive visual art displays. The festival takes over the town of Tullamore, dominating the centre of the town for the entire weekend and is completely free to all visitors.
Music over the weekend commences on Friday evening with a session mór, open to all and with musicians welcome.
Saturday features Cork/Kerry rockers Co2, as well as Tucan (pictured), Hombre and Adrian Fox.
Sunday evening's line-up will be headlined by John Spillane, along with Pauline Scanlon, Kevin Murphy, Donogh Hennessy, Wayne Brennan, Whatever Jones, and The Rimelines.
