People who go to gigs are happier, science says.
According to a new study from an Australian University, people who go to gigs are incrementally less miserable than the rest of us.
A study performed by Australia's Deakin University has found that people who regularly go to gigs are happier.
The study, which has a sample size of 1000 reported that when quizzed, people who regularly attended live gigs reported a higher amount of life satisfaction.
The study emphasised that it was those who actively attended live music events that reported the higher levels of subjective well being. From this we can conclude that the social and communal aspect of live gigs is what garners the highest levels of happiness.
