Paul Brady announces Dublin shows
Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 5 at 10am.
Singer-songwriter Paul Brady has announced two shows at Vicar Street, Dublin on June 17 and 18, 2026.
Paul Brady has had a career spanning more than five decades, from traditional Irish music in the 1960s and 1970s, with groups such as The Johnstons and Planxty, to a shift toward rock, folk-rock and pop from the 1980s onward.
His 1981 album Hard Station marked his first project composed entirely of his own original songs; subsequent albums including Back to the Centre in 1985 and others helped establish him as a leading Irish singer-songwriter.
Among his best-known songs are ‘The Island’, ‘Arthur McBride’, ‘Crazy Dreams’, ‘Nothing But The Same Old Story’, and ‘Nobody Knows’.
Brady’s songs have been covered and recorded by a wide range of international artists, including Tina Turner, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, and many others.
In recognition of his enduring contribution to Irish music, Brady received a Lifetime Achievement Award from National Concert Hall, Dublin in 2015.
Tickets for Paul Brady’s Vicar Street shows will go on sale Friday, December 5 at 10am.
