Party hard!

As revealed earlier in the week on hotpress.com, Larry Mullen has been co-opted onto the panel for America's Shortlist Music Project prize.

Each of the judges gets to nominate their five favourite albums of 2001, with Larry opting for JJ72 JJ72, The Hives Veni Vidi Vicious, Andrew WK Andrew WK, Doves The Last Broadcast and Bjork Vespertine.

"The Shortlist Music Project honors today's most creative and adventurous albums, focusing on emerging artists rather than established hit-makers", says co-founder Greg Spotts. "It's artists you know turning you on to other artists you may not know."
