Pale Waves to make noise and waves with debut album
British alt-pop quartet Pale Waves have announced their highly anticipated debut album, My Mind Makes Noises.
The pop-playing goths will release the LP on 14 September.
The album is to feature hit singles 'There's A Honey' and 'Television Romance', which were co-produced by 1975 frontman Matt Healy.
Other singles include 'Kiss' and brand new 'Eighteen', which was premiered today as Annie Mac's Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1.
The album is now available for preorder on digital platforms, CD and limited edition translucent red vinyl on the band's website.
“I’ve not really held anything back on the new stuff," vocalist and guitarist Heather said of the upcoming album in an interview with Hot Press. "And I’ve covered a lot of issues and subjects I’ve haven’t touched on before. I normally don’t like talking about things...music for me is my way to escape and run away from problems.”
The band are currently playing festival gigs all over the world before they embark on the Pale Waves UK, Ireland, Europe and North America headline tours.
'There's A Honey' was released to widespread acclaim, while the Matt Healy-directed music video for 'Television Romance' amassed over 5 million views on YouTube.
