Deadline for submissions is June 30 2024 at 6pm.
Northern Irish musicians are encouraged to apply to Oh Yeah Music Centre's Scratch My Progress 2024 / 2025, with applications now open.
Scratch My Progress is a career development accelerator programme designed to help new musicians breakthrough in the music industry.
It has been described as the leading NI musicians career development programme and organisers are expecting a busy and competitive year.
Since 2010, 53 acts have benefited from the Scratch My Progress scheme, with Oh Yeah mentors dedicated to developing, supporting, signposting, nurturing and promoting local musical talent to international change makers.
This year's competition provides an opportunity for up to 4 acts (bands/singer songwriters or solo artist/act) to avail of professional advice and support, organised by the Oh Yeah Music Centre, in the development of your music for 9 months, beginning September 2024.
Alums of the programme include punk rockers Problem Patterns who will play Glastonbury 2024, Charlie Hanlon who had his first UK performance at The Great Escape 2024 and Gemma Bradley who is now the UK National Radio broadcaster for BBC Introducing...
Entry to the programme is free and can be completed through using this Google Form.
