Among the highlights of KNEECAP's set at Glastonbury this weekend – in front of a crowd of approximately 30,000 people in the packed out West Holts area – was the live debut of a new collaboration with Orbital's Paul Hartnoll.
Orbital shared footage of the performance on social media yesterday evening – instructing fans to "skip to 18 minutes in on the BBC iPlayer stream, to hear it in full."
The English duo's track 'Belfast' – which originally featured on their 1991 III EP – featured in the soundtrack to the Kneecap film last year.
"Kneecap is an absolutely amazingly brilliant movie with an incredible soundtrack," the other half of the duo, Phil Hartnoll, commented at the time. "So happy that 'Belfast' got in there in a major scene. If you haven’t seen it’s a must..."
KNEECAP's Glastonbury performance has been widely praised by both fans and international outlets – and saw the group leading a 'fuck Keir Starmer' chant, in response to the UK Prime Minister claiming it wasn't "appropriate" for the Irish trio to perform at the festival.

“Glastonbury, I’m a free man,” KNEECAP's Mo Chara declared during the set – in reference to being granted unconditional bail earlier this month, following a court appearance for what Móglaí Bap described on stage as "a trumped up terrorism charge".
They also led the massive crowd in 'free Palestine' chants, and voiced their support for the Palestine Action campaign group, which the UK government is seeking to ban under anti-terrorism laws.
KNEECAP shared their their latest single, 'THE RECAP', featuring Mozey, via their WhatsApp group last month, before releasing the track on streaming services last week.
