Northside Music Festival set for August
The fifth Northside Music Festival will run from August 1 to 18 with free live musical events across the north half of Dublin.
There will be a rich array of performances from African percussion and classical to jazz and trad. The line-up including The Oxo Boys Stringband, The Dublin Guitar Quartet, Celtic Rose, Beoga and Andreas Varady Trio will appear in a variety of northside venues such as city parks, community centres, churches and civic spaces.
There will be specific events for children with three concerts by The Whitleblast Quartet and The Speks and a workshop by the Wassa Wassa Drum Collective.
The festival is run by Dublin City Council with support from The Arts Council.
