North Star Lover

It’s always a joy to hear Fionn Regan’s gentle, rumbling voice, but when you hear it singing a melody that Joni Mitchell would give her last pack of cigarettes for, things tend to get a little bit special. On the surface, ‘North Star Lover’ is a fairly straightforward acoustic ballad with some lilting strings thrown in for good measure, but it also has enough emotional heft to charm even the most cynical of listeners (I should know).
