Noel Gallagher heads up Indie album charts
Chasing Yesterday leads the way...
With the final chords from his 3Arena gig still ringing in our ears, Noel Gallagher's new album Chasing Yesterday has claimed top spot on the Irish indie album charts.
His first High Flying Birds effort re-enters the chart at No. 7, but it's his new LP that leads the way ahead of Tommy Fleming, who sees The West's Awake knocked off top spot. That's pursued by the newly crowned Choice Prize winner The Gloaming.
Steven Wilson sees his Hands. Cannot. Erase jump in at No. 4, while Father John Misty, War On Drugs and Black Star Rider all hang onto spots in the top ten for another week.
