‘Night & Day’ marks another suitably weird piece of blip-fueled freak pop from mad scientists Hot Chip, who I’m delighted to report are currently channeling the last surviving Gibb brother with ceiling-sweeping shoops and the entire family with a wonky new disco melody. ‘Do I look like a rapper?’ Alexis Taylor asks, as a mass of hyperactive beats swirl around his head. Not exactly, but worry you not, Alexis, that’s just the way I like it.
