The role of bass player Gene Simmons has not been cast yet
Nick Jonas has reportedly landed the role of KISS frontman Paul Stanley in a new biopic of the band.
Deadline says that Jonas is nearing the finalisation of a contract to play Stanley in Shout It Out Loud. It's suggested that Jonas will be doing his own singing and will need time to train to replicate Stanley's vocals.
Directed by McG, who is known for his work in the films Charlie's Angels and Terminator Salvation, the biopic will be focusing on the early days of the rock band in the 1970s.
The biopic has been in the works since 2021 and was originally set to be released in 2024, according to manager Doc McGhee.
