NewDad announce new EP Safe
They’ve also shared details of a live show at The Dome in London, with tickets on sale from Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
Galway shoegaze outfit NewDad have announced their upcoming EP, Safe, set for release on May 2.
The band took to social media to share the news: "This group of songs were born in London. They’re about navigating this city and industry and how difficult it can be to keep your sense of self. We hold these songs very close to our hearts and hope ye love them as much as we do."
The EP stays true to NewDad’s shoegaze and dream-pop's foundations whilst bringing in a sharper edge and new confidence, drawing influence from Pavement and Sonic Youth.
The band will also be debuting these songs live for the first time at The Dome in London on May 14. Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday, April 16, at 5 p.m.
Last month, the band announced that bassist Cara Joshi had "decided to part ways", and "embrace new opportunities."
Now performing as a trio, NewDad consists of Julie Dawson, Fiachra Parslow, and Sean O’Dowd.
