New punk festival TORANN announced for January in Galway
The festival will be headlined by Skerries metal group Primordial.
A new metal and punk festival, TORANN is coming to Galway from January 9 - January 11, 2026.
The inaugural festival weekend will be hosted by Strange Brew at venues across Galway city such as the Róisín Dubh, The Loft and Sally Longs. Skerries metal group Primordial are set to headline the festival and will be joined by Dublin band Death The Leveller and Galway group Genuflection, with more lineup announcements to come soon.
Primordial is known for blending metal and Irish folk influences, drawing from themes of Celtic mythology and history. The band formed in 1987 and has released 10 studio albums, with their latest being How It Ends - released in 2023.
