New Pagans are back with new single ‘Admire’
The Belfast-based band’s debut EP 'Glacial Erratic' is due for release on March 6.
‘Admire’ is a love song about sticking around for someone, after the spark of newness has gone. The lyrics taunt at the mundane nature of longer alliances, but equally celebrate the resilience and beauty found in being content and committed to another person.
The new song is a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate what we already have. Vocalist Lyndsey McDougall was heavily pregnant during the recording, which left her vocals raw and exposed. It shows once again that New Pagans is one of the finest guitar bands in the land.
'Admire' is a love song for anyone who knows how tough it is to stick around.
