New Elbow album update

Guy Garvey and co are gearing up for a hectic year with a rake of live dates – including the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on June 25 – scheduled and a new album almost good to go.

Now we have further details on their sixth studio effort.

It is set to be called The Take Off And Land Everything and will be with us on March 3.

Of the title, Garvey has said:

"It's to do with the fact that there have been lots of life events…There are five members of the band, people have split up, go together, had children, it never stops."

Expect a sprinkling of those new tracks in the summer, as well as all the usual big-hearted anthems and fan favourites.
