Nessa Barrett announces National Stadium show

American singer-songwriter Nessa Barrett has announced a show at Dublin's National Stadium on March 2, 2027, kicking off her European and UK tour.

The run will celebrate the release of her third studio album, Tough Love, which came out last Friday.

The new record arrived shortly after Barrett wrapped up the European and UK leg of The Neighbourhood's The Wourld Tour - where she played several songs off the album as a special opening act. The US leg will pick up on November 10 in Atlanta.

Tough Love follows her spring 8-track EP Jesus loves a primadonna, which included tracks like 'High on Heaven', 'Stay With Me' and 'Buffalo 66' - for which she also collaborated with The Neighbourhood on the music video, starring frontman Jesse Rutherford.

The last time Barrett was in Ireland was May 2025, when she sold out two nights at Dublin's 3Olympia.

"The crowd sang along as the singer dropped to her knees, reveling in the heavy wave of bass," wrote Hot Press in a review of the gig. "Prancing off stage without a word, Barrett left fans with a deeply communal experience."

Barrett has amassed nearly 3 billion global streams and over 27 million followers across social platforms. She's worked with the likes of Whethan, Tommy Genesis and Artemas, while she also duetted her own song 'american jesus' with Lana Del Rey on stage in 2024.

The artist first gained fame on TikTok in 2019, posting lip-sync, comedy and lifestyle videos before shifting her focus entirely to music. She released her debut single, 'Pain' in 2020 and achieved chart success with her 2021 single 'I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead,' which entered the US Billboard Hot 100.
