The orchestral pop band kept the crowd happy while managing to throw in a host of songs from their new album Foreverland in the process.
For the first half of The Divine Comedy's set, Neil Hannon made a note of drawing our attention to his short stature by coming out dressed as that most height-conscious of historical figures - Napoleon Bonaparte.
He looked absolutely dapper in the outfit and he didn't care what anyone thought as he lashed out the best songs from the band's latest album. 'How Can You Leave Me On My Own' was as great as the late Russian Empress Catherine, 'Napoleon Complex' was hilariously on the nose, while 'To The Rescue' may prove to be one of the band's best songs ever written.
The second half of the set saw Neil introduce himself as 'The Complete Banker', while dressed in a Charlie Chaplin get-up (there was also a message for Leo Varadkar/Fine Gael's policy planning in there). Elsewhere, 'Something For The Weekend' was a crowd pleaser. The guy behind me quipped to his friend that 'All the young ones are cheering and saying 'my dad loves this song!'" I stopped short of defending myself as a young one who very much loved this song on his own accord!

'At The Indie Disco' was another pleaser, along with 'The National Express', while 'My Lovely Horse' was always going to get the crowd buzzing, even if it was just hurriedly thrown in before the finale.
Make no mistake, although the may think they're past the point where they should be retiring, The Divine Comedy are at the top of their game.
