Neil Hannon & Duke Special duet on My Lovely Horse Rescue EP
An assortment of musical friends will be joining them for next week's Dublin launch
Some of Ireland’s top musicians have joined forces to record a seven-track mini-album in aid of My Lovely Horse Rescue.
The full line-up of equine-related tunes is Neil Hannon and Duke Special ‘It’s Never Too Late’, We Cut Corners ‘And The Horse You Rode In On’, Paddy Hanna ‘Flowers Grave’, The Late David Turpin ‘All The Pretty Little Horses’, No Monster Club ‘Remember You’re A Womble’, Sissy ‘Horses’ and Gar Cox ‘Wild Horses’.
The good Duke and Neil Hannon are also joining forces on Wednesday May 4 with Paddy Hanna, No Monster Club & Meg LaGrande, Gar Cox and David Turpin for the official launch in the Dublin Button Factory. Tickets for the, ahem, Mane Event are a bargain €7. You’ll also be able to buy it that day from all digital stores.
Ted Crilly, we imagine, would be delighted. Although come to think of it, the proceeds may have ended up 'resting' in his account...
