Ne-Yo and Akon add third Dublin show due to demand
The hitmakers will take the stage at 3Arena this April.
Ne-Yo and Akon have announced a third Dublin headline date at 3Arena on Thursday, April 23, due to high demand.
The RnB stars will begin their Nights Like This tour in Dublin before taking on Europe, the UK, and North America. They'll perform 59 shows in total from April to August.
Irish fans can catch the two co-headlining at 3Arena from Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25.
Ne-Yo is a three-time Grammy-winning artist known for hits like 'So Sick' and 'Let Me Love You'. He lent his songwriting skills to aughts hits like Rihanna's 'Take a Bow' and Beyoncé's 'Irreplaceable'. This month marks the 20-year anniversary of his debut album In My Own Words, which reached no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The founder of three record labels, Akon made a name for himself through his debut album Trouble and later with features on Gwen Stefani and David Guetta tracks. In 2006, he was the first solo artist to simultaneously hold the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'I Wanna Love You' and 'Smack That'.
Tickets for Ne-Yo and Akon's April 23 date will be available February 6 at 10 am. Their April 24 and 25 dates are already nearly sold out.
