Nation
Finally! The long awaited eighth album from Brazilian metal heavyweights Sepultura has hit the shelves.
Finally! The long awaited eighth album from Brazilian metal heavyweights Sepultura has hit the shelves. Fuelled with copious levels of rhythm ferocity and trademark vocal intensity, Nation is the first album to be recorded on home turf since 1989's debut, Beneath The Remains.
A clear progression on 1998's Against, Nation boasts a fresh diversity, opening with the cracking dynamic rhythms of 'Sepulnation', before dragging us through the screaming guitars of 'Politricks' and closing with the dramatic string orchestration and classic Seps riffs of 'Valtio'. Layer upon layer of heavy distortions fuelled with South American rhythms keep Nation close to Sepultura roots, but leave enough room for progression and evolution, making Nation quite the epic. Pure metal, pure energy, and pure bloody class.
