Myles Smith shares 'Hold Me In The Dark' video starring Stephen Graham

Graham is most recently credited for starring in Netflix's hit Adolescence in which he won won three Primetime Emmy Awards, one Golden Globe Award and two Actor Awards. He is also known for his acclaimed roles in Boiling Point, This Is England and Line of Duty.

'Hold Me In The Dark' features on Smith's debut album My Mess, My Heart, My Life, a 15-track record released on June 19.

Directed by Smith himself, the seven-and-a-half minute video stars Graham as a father facing the final days of his daughter's battle with cancer. The video closes with a message highlighting the impact of childhood cancer in the UK, noting that one in 400 children will receive a diagnosis.

In an Instagram post accompanying the video's release, Smith dedicated the project to the staff and patients of the pediatric oncology ward at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, where they filmed most of the video.

Smith wrote: "I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve made together. It’s raw, honest and means a lot to both of us. I can’t wait for you all to see it and become part of the conversation."

The release follows a major year for the Luton singer-songwriter, who recently released his debut album and announced his biggest headline tour to date, including a Dublin date at the 3Arena on November 17. The album features 'Stargazing' which has over one billion listens on Spotify.
