Mumford & Sons announce new album Prizefighter
The record comes out February 13 2026.
Mumford & Sons have announced the release of their upcoming album Prizefighter for February 13 via Island Records.
It marks the band’s sixth studio album, and the follow-up to their March 2025 record RUSHMERE.
The announcement follows the release of their single ‘Rubber Band Man’, released in collaboration with Irish musician Hozier.
The upcoming record was created alongside Aaron Dessner who the band previously worked with on their third record Wilder Mind, and includes collaborations with the likes of Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez.
It’s been hard to keep this one under wraps because we’re about as excited as we’ve ever been to release a record.
We think Prizefighter is the best music we’ve ever made, and we’ve never been happier doing it. With the help of our old friend Aaron Dessner, we found this… pic.twitter.com/i6T82yLFwo

Speaking of Prizefighter, Marcus Mumford said: “We feel like we’re hitting our prime as a creative force. We’re putting everything we have into this now, and we’re using everything about our experience so far to embrace exactly who we are.
“We’re comfortable in our skins these days. And Prizefighter is us going for it - serious and playful, sometimes bruised and always hopeful. We’re nowhere near done yet.”
