Mt. Desolation announce Irish shows

The supergroup featuring assorted members of Keane, Mumford & Sons, Noah & The Whale and The Killers, Mt. Desolation, kick off their first European tour in the Spring & Airbrake, Belfast (September 9) and Whelan’s, Dublin (10).
The date precedes the release of their eponymous album, which, á la Tired Pony, has a distinct alt. country whiff about it.
Having hatched the concept over copious pints of Guinness in Dublin – no better place – Tim Rice-Oxley and his Keane colleague Jesse Quin used their bulging address books to recruit an all-star cast.
Who’ll be in the live band when they hit these shores remains to be seen! Tickets priced ?15 go on sale this Friday.
