Moving Hearts reunite
Modern trad band Moving Hearts have confirmed they're to play two reunion shows in Dublin.
The band, whose last album was the seminal The Storm in 1985, were considered to be one of the most influential bands of that genre, proving their innovation by combining trad with elements rock'n'roll and jazz.
After four years in the early 1980s, the band ceased regular touring. In 1990, however, they sold out The Point in Dublin and have only performed a handful of concerts since.
The original line up featured Christy Moore and Declan Sinnott, but this live line-up will comprise of Donal Lunny, Davy Spillane, Eoghan O'Neill, Keith Donald, Matt Kellaghan, Noel Eccles, Anto Drennan and Graham Henderson.
The concerts, which take place on 8 and 9 February 2007, is priced at €39.20 (standing) / €49.20 (seated).
