Michael Lawson Voted the 2016 Voice of Ireland
The young chap from Newbliss in County Monaghan was deemed last nights worthy winner by the public.
It's a grueling process through weeks of blind auditions, knockout rounds, weekly televised live performances and hinging on the public to vote but after all that 19 year old Michael Lawson is now the Voice of Ireland.
Mentored through the competition by Bressie, the former Blizzards bandman was chuffed for his protégée; "People like you deserve to win because you are a natural talent and they don't come along very often."
After his winning performance of the Lukas Graham hit 7 Years, Lawson is now signed to Universal Music Ireland and has the advantage of being televised for the last few months nationwide. Michael Lawson's 7 Years is available to download on iTunes.
