Prince Estate announces posthumous album Timeless
Made up of 10 previously unreleased recordings from Prince's Vault, the new record comes out August 28.
Prince Estate has announced the release of the posthumous album Timeless, a 10-song collection of previously unreleased recordings from Prince’s Vault, due out August 28.
It will mark the first Prince release ever curated to span every major era of his career, bringing together recordings created between 1977 and 2016.
The estate also released the new single ‘Stone’, a previously unreleased recording from spring 1995 written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer, and Jules Van Even.

Prince Celebration 2026, taking place June 3–7, 2026 across Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis, will serve as the official launch for the project, featuring exclusive listening sessions, archival presentations, and conversations with Prince collaborators.
Earlier this year, The Prince Estate previewed Timeless with the release of ‘With This Tear’ in April, commemorating the tenth anniversary of Prince's passing.
