Maud In Cahoots to support The Strypes
The Dubliner will play alongside the Cavan four-piece next month...
Cavan rhythm 'n' blues act The Strypes have confirmed that Dublin singer Maud In Cahoots will support them at their upcoming Whelan's date, on December 18.
The young band, who paid us a visit at the Hot Press Chat Room at Electric Picnic this year, also played an impressive set alongside Raglans in Whelan's last May. Reminiscent of early Beatles, we reckon you'll be hearing more of The Strypes in 2013.
Meanwhile, Maud In Cahoots - aka Maud Reardon - lives in New York, but frequently flies home to perform here. Earlier this month, she and her sister Zoe played two shoes at Dublin's Academy. The singer's Baroque pop sound earned her the top prize in 2010's Arthur's Day competition - she performed on the day with Snow Patrol, and featured on the cover of HP.
Tickets for The Strypes and Maud In Cahoots' Whelan's show on December 18 are on sale now, priced €17.50.
