American singer Mary Lou Lord descends on Whelan's next month for her first Irish show
Mary Lou Lord opens her Dublin account with a May 23 show in Whelan's.
An American who learned her trade busking in London, she's been variously compared to Sandy Denny, Nick Drake, Richard Thomson and her close pal Shawn Colvin.
