Martin McDonnell to play the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series tonight

We're delighted to announce Martin McDonnell as our next act on the new edition of Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series – going live on the Hot Press Instagram at 7.30pm tonight!

Initially honing his craft busking on the streets of Dublin, Martin McDonnell has built up an impressive international following in recent months with a string of acclaimed singles – plus a viral busking moment featuring Hozier.

The Y&E Series continues to shine a light on some of the best new and emerging talent that Ireland has to offer in 2020. Following the success of the previous two editions of the Y&E Series, you can once again expect 40 brilliant acts to join Hot Press on Instagram for special live-streamed performances.
