Mark Ronson's show on August 23 has been moved from the Olympia to the Village - while French band The National are doing the exact opposite.
Superstar DJ Mark Ronson’s August 23 concert has now shifted to the relatively intimate venue of The Village, Dublin.
The move comes as something of a surprise after his successes of late.
Fresh from production work on Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black album, Ronson’s album Version burned up the charts and critical columns in April. The record is positively star-studded, with Lily Allen, Robbie Williams and Amy Winehouse (no doubt returning the favour) chipping in with what they’ve got.
Tickets for the show are still available priced at €31.50.
Meanwhile The National are upgrading their show, due to take place on November 1, from The Village to The Olympia.
Following hot on the heels of their incendiary Oxegen set, their mellifluous sound is set to fill Irish ears once again, as they take to the road to promote third album Boxer.
So pick up a golden ticket for €21 and let Matt Berninger’s wine-rich voice resonate right through you.
