Marc O’Reilly Signs To Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift Outfit
The Irish singer songwriter has taken a big step forward in his campaign for international recognition, linking up with Fintage Music and Red Light Management
Marc O'Reilly has signed a worldwide publishing and neighbouring rights deal with Fintage Music International, who represent an extensive list of International artists and Grammy winners.
Fintage Music's client list stretches from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Jason Mraz to Foo Fighters, Tori Amos and Jack Savoretti.
Marc O'Reilly has self-released two widely praised albums to date, Human Herdings and My Friend Marx, and has toured extensively over the past few years. He has played Glastonbury and Electric Picnic, as well as numerous other major festivals. He is scheduled to play Whelan’s, Dublin on 14 August 2015.
Marc will also now be jointly managed between Jawdropper Management in Ireland, run by John Glennon, and Red Light Management in the US, who also look after artists like Alabama Shakes, Dave Matthews Band and Kaiser Chiefs.
In addition to his solo work, Marc has been involved in a number of side-projects, including the electro-pop duo ‘R’, with his brother Pierre. R recently receieved excellent radio support for their debut single ‘Change’ from tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq (BBC 6music), Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) and Paul McLoone (Today FM) and reached No. 1 on the Amazing Radio Chart.
Marc has also provided vocals on three tracks for the new album by MOBO winning act Karios 4tet, which was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. The album received 4 star reviews from Mojo, The Independent and Guardian, with the positive critical reception leading to the recording of a live BBC Maida Vale session for the Jamie Cullum Show on BBC Radio 2.
