While the UK Christmas number one looks like being a three-way duke out between The Trashmen, Caged Against The Machine and whatever monstrosity X Factor foists on us, the top spot here could very well be claimed by Limerick’s Rubberbandits whose sensitive paen to love Shannonside-style, ‘Horse Outside’, has racked up 241,231 views on YouTube – and rising.
It’s bad news for Honda, Subaru and Mitsubishi drivers, but great for people who object to Simon Cowell making the top 40 his personal fifedom . You can get it now from iTunes.
