Happy Mondays celebrate 35 years of Pills ’n’ Thrills And Bellyaches with Dublin and Belfast shows
They will play Vicar Street, Dublin on April 22 and Mandela Hall, Belfast on April 24.
Happy Mondays will celebrate 35 years of their classic album Pills ’n’ Thrills And Bellyaches with an extensive UK and Irish tour in March and April 2026, including stops in Vicar Street, Dublin on April 22 and Mandela Hall, Belfast on April 24.
The third album from the pioneers of the Madchester movement, Pills ’n’ Thrills And Bellyaches arrived in 1999 and followed their breakthrough 1987 debut album, Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out), and their 1988 sophomore album Bummed, which arrived the following year.
The upcoming tour will feature performances of highlights from the LP, as well as a variety of hits and fan favourites.
Ahead of the 35th anniversary of their classic album ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills And Bellyaches’, @Happy_Mondays have announced shows at @Vicar_Street, Dublin on 22 April and @mandelahall, Belfast on 24 April 2026 🍉@TheFarm_ will join as very special guests 🎶

It will kick off in Newcastle on March 13, and include dates in Nottingham, Cambridge. London, Glasgow and much more.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back on tour with the Mondays in 2026, especially with our old mates The Farm who are touring with us,” said Shaun Ryder.
Bez added: “Really excited to be going back on tour again in the UK next year! I love being on the road with the Mondays, there is no better feeling than playing to the fans of live music. I’ll see you all next year.”
