Benjamin Steer releases sophomore EP Figuring It Out
Steer is also set to play a support slot for Arthur Hill at The Academy, Dublin on November 20.
Fast-rising singer-songwriter Benjamin Steer unveils his sophomore EP Figuring It Out, out now.
He is also set to play a support slot for Arthur Hill at The Academy, Dublin on November 20, with all tickets currently sold out.
"The EP is a hopeless romantic’s dream and downfall,” Steer commented. “I wanted to capture the helpless unknowns of being in your 20s and trying to figure out what makes you happy while balancing the pressures and expectations of life… hopefully something people can relate to.”
Check out the EP’s lead single, ‘No One Wants To Die Alone’, below:
Hailing from Washington D.C. and based in Scotland, Steer first started writing songs to process the long British winters. One of those early tracks, 2023’s ‘Muted Colours’, would go on to secure him a record deal after label heads discovered it online.
Since then, Steer has supported artists including Kingfishr, Calum Bowie, Texas, Arthur Hill, Kerr Mercer, and Myles Smith, as well as appearing in landmark UK venues to European halls, including appearances at Sound of Nashville and Reeperbahn Festival this summer.
Steer’s sophomore EP Figuring It Out is out now.
