Madness join Waterford bill
Camden's finest will be over for Waterford's Daytripper Festival in June...
Waterford’s new Daytripper festival has unveiled Madness as its Saturday night headliner.
Joining them from 5pm are the equally rocksteady King Kong Company and Natty Wailer Band.
Although it’s a long time ago since the Nutty Boys from Camden Town burst onto the scene with the likes of ‘The Prince’, ‘One Step Beyond’ and the eponymous ‘Madness’, they remain as potent a force as ever with their current Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da album up there with their best.
Running from June 28 – 30 on a specially constructed stage in Bolton Street, Friday’s honours are taken care of by Imelda May with The Coronas bringing things to a triumphant close on Sunday.
