Mac DeMarco returns to Dublin for a Vicar Street show this November
Fresh from his stellar set at Iveagh Gardens, the Canadian singer-songwriter has announced a Vicar Street gig for later this year.
Mere hours after his sold out performance at the Iveagh Gardens, Mac De Marco has announced his return to Dublin with an intimate show at Vicar Street on November 25.
The Canadian singer-songwriter released his fifth album, Here Comes The Cowboy, in May. The project was the follow-up to 2017's This Old Dog, and was written and mixed at DeMarco's Jizz Jazz Studios in Los Angeles earlier this year.
In a statement about the album, DeMarco revealed:
"I’ve played all the instruments on the record myself, except for a bit of keyboard here and there, played by my tour keyboardist – now one of my oldest friends – Alec Meen. My traveling sound engineer Yakitori Santar also helped me record and assemble the tracks. During the recording, it was raining a lot in Los Angeles. If you pay close attention, you can hear it knocking on the windows of the garage here and there."
Tickets for DeMarco's Vicar Street's gig go on sale this Friday, July 19, at 9am. See Ticketmaster for more information.
