Luke Combs, The Script and more officially announced for Slane Castle 2026
Tickets go on sale next week
After the release of a teaser video earlier this week, American country star Luke Combs has officially been announced to headline Slane Castle on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
He'll be joined by special guests The Script, Ty Myers, and The Castellows.
The show is part of Combs' My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which will take him to stadiums across North America and Europe.
“This year has been awesome," he reflected, following the announcement of the tour. "We’ve gotten to play some of the most iconic festivals in the world and promote country music in ways that it normally isn’t. That said, while the festivals are awesome, there’s nothing like a headline show on a full tour with all of my fans. It’s hard to beat! I can’t wait for March 2026 for the My Kinda Saturday Night Tour. We’re going to 8 different countries, bringing along a ton of great support, and by then will have a lot of new music to play.”
Combs released his latest album, Fathers & Sons, in 2024. He has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards and has won a number of Country Music Association Awards.
A Grand Ole Opry member and a multi-award-winning artist, Combs has collaborated with the likes of Post Malone, Bailey Zimmerman, Jon Bellion and Alex Warren. He performed his hugely popular rendition of 'Fast Car' with Tracy Chapman at the 66th Grammy Awards, and joined forces with Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor to headline the Concert for Carolina, a special benefit show that raised over $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
The last concert at Slane Castle was Harry Styles' 2023 Love On Tour gig – with the sold-out show featuring an 80,000-strong crowd.
The site has played host to performances from numerous music icons over the years, including Thin Lizzy, U2, Oasis, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Metallica and Madonna.
In June, Lord Henry Mount Charles, who first staged Slane's rock concerts, died at the age of 74.
Tickets for Luke Combs at Slane Castle go on general sale on Friday, October 17, at 10am.
