See the teaser below.
Slane Castle concert organisers have hinted that a gig at the iconic venue will be announced tomorrow (Thursday, October 9).
A video posted on Slane's Instagram featured a snippet of American country singer Luke Combs' 'My Kinda Saturday Night', suggesting that the artist will be announced for the venue's next performance.
Combs, known for his 2023 cover of Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car', released his fifth album Fathers & Sons in 2024.
He has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards and has won a number of Country Music Association Awards.
The last concert at Slane Castle was Harry Styles' 2023 Love On Tour gig. The sold-out show saw a crowd 80,000 strong.
The venue has seen performances from a number of other prominent artists over the years, including Thin Lizzy, U2, Oasis, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Metallica and Madonna.
In June, Lord Henry Mount Charles, who first staged Slane's rock concerts, died at the age of 74.
