Lowly Knights announce EP launch at Communion Belfast
The band will play Belfast’s Black Box September 12 as part of Open House Festival
The gig not only will launch the group’s third record, 5-track A little give, a little take: The Even Keel EP, but will also mark the beginning of Communion Belfast.
Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones (Cherbourg) and producer Ian Grimble founded the Communion concept in 2006 at Notting Hill Arts Club in London. The community of musicians, industry and fans has provided a platform for the likes of Noah and the Whale, Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons, JJ Pistolet and Peggy Sue. Communcion Belfast follows nights in Brighton, Leeds, Bristol, Dublin and Sydney Austratlia.
Lowly Knights will join Matthew & the Atlas, Marcus Foster and Pete Roe at the Open House Festival hosted launch.
