Louth songwriter scores No. 1 in Vietnam
Paul Michael Coleman hits the top with 'My New Home'
While the likes of Hozier have been celebrating extraordinary international success of late, there's another - somewhat more unlikely - Irish songwriter hitting the top of the charts far from his native land.
Paul Michael Coleman, originally from Drogheda, has been living in Vietnam for around 18 months. Now, with the help of a contestant from the country's version of The Voice, he has shot to the top of the charts - scoring over 1m downloads in the process - with a song he penned, 'My New Home'.
Describing the success as 'a shock', Paul has no idea just how stunned those in HP Towers were to hear that one of our own is on top in the land of the ascending dragon.
Check out the song right here.
