With a predominantly acoustic sound underpinned by lush harmonies, comparisons to the Go-Betweens, Crowded House, and The Proclaimers are inevitable. Having said that, the bruddas have a sound that is very much their own.
A song like ‘Engines Are Pulling Me’ might suggest a country curve, but then along come pieces like ‘Natalie’ and 'Tell Me' and one is right back in classic pop territory – an impression that is further copperfastened by ‘Ten Minutes’, one of those songs that you think has been around forever. It may take the world at large a little while yet to wake up to Brother Nature, but when it does – and it will – just watch ’em go.
