Long live the King Of America
...Elvis Costello, that is - who will be playing the brand-refurbished National Stadium in September
Elvis Costello returns to live duty on September 2nd when he plays Dublin's National Stadium.
Expect a generous serving of material from When I Was Cruel, his new album which harks back to his late '70s'/early '80s heyday.
"After singing so many ballads in the last few years, it was time for a rowdy rhythm record," he says. "We used a highly skilled team of musicians and engineers to ensure that we didn't accidentally make a record that's previously been released."
